Born on the first day of summer, Summer Steele is a Boston-based singer/songwriter with an eclectic taste in music that ranges from indie, pop, and classic rock. Her influences include Sabrina Carpenter, Taylor Swift, Christina Perri, Scars on 45, Hayley Kiyoko, Troye Sivan, Meiko, and Lin-Manuel Miranda, among many others.
Summer enjoys experimenting vocally and is able to use her well-modulated voice to adapt to different musical styles. She’s not afraid to take risks and understands that hard work and practice can enable her to expand her range and comfort zone. Following in the steps of her older brother Hunter, Summer first picked up a guitar at the age of 9 and hasn’t looked back since. Summer also enjoys musical theater, skiing, travel, and baking cookies and is owned by a Shetland Sheepdog named Sirius.
She’s available for performances big and small, as well as session and studio work—just contact [email protected] for inquiries.
